Storam (“we”, “us”, “our”) helps you find local stores and see whether they are open. This Privacy Policy explains what information we collect, how we use it, and the choices you have when you use the Storam mobile app and related services.
By using Storam, you agree to this Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, please do not use the app.
2. Information We Collect
Information you provide
- Phone number — used to sign in with a one-time verification code (OTP).
- Name — first and last name for your profile.
- City and region — country, state, and city you select in the app.
- Store details — if you list a store, we store information such as store name, address, phone, WhatsApp number, opening hours, and other business details you enter.
- Support messages — text you send through the in-app Support feature.
- Account actions — such as profile updates or account deletion requests.
Information collected automatically
- Location — if you allow location access, we use your device’s GPS coordinates to show stores near you or to save your preferred location. You can also browse by city without sharing precise location.
- Device and app information — such as app version, operating system, and basic device details.
- Error and diagnostic data — if the app crashes or fails, we may receive error reports to help us fix problems. Sensitive details such as OTP codes and full phone numbers in logs are reduced or removed where possible.
We do not ask for your email address to create an account. We do not sell your personal information.
3. How We Use Your Information
We use your information to:
- verify your identity through OTP;
- create and manage your account;
- show stores in your selected city or near your location;
- let store owners create and manage their listings;
- send your support messages to our team;
- improve app stability, security, and performance;
- comply with applicable law.
4. How We Share Information
We do not sell your personal data.
We may share information only when needed:
- With service providers — such as SMS/OTP providers, email services for support, and hosting providers that help us run the app.
- With other users — store information you choose to publish (name, hours, contact details, address) may be visible to people using Storam, according to your visibility settings.
- For legal reasons — if required by law, court order, or to protect our rights, users, or the public.
- Business changes — if Storam is merged, sold, or reorganized, your information may transfer as part of that transaction, subject to this policy.
5. Data Retention
We keep your information for as long as your account is active or as needed to provide the service.
If you delete your account, we delete your account and associated data, including stores linked to your account, as described in the app. Some information may remain in backups or logs for a limited time for security, legal, or technical reasons.
6. Your Choices and Rights
Depending on where you live, you may have the right to:
- access or update your profile information in the app;
- change location permissions in your device settings;
- contact us with questions or complaints;
- delete your account using Delete My Account in the app.

We use reasonable technical and organizational measures to protect your information. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, so we cannot guarantee absolute security.
8. Children’s Privacy
Storam is intended only for users who are 18 years of age or older. We do not knowingly collect personal information from anyone under 18. If you believe someone under 18 has provided us information, contact us at support@storam.com and we will take appropriate steps to remove it.
9. Third-Party Links and Services
The app may open external links (for example, WhatsApp, phone dialer, or app store pages). Those services have their own privacy policies, and we are not responsible for how they handle your information.
10. Changes to This Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will post the updated version in the app and/or admin settings. Continued use of Storam after changes means you accept the updated policy.
